Theresa Reitzell

Funeral services for Theresa Reitzell, age 88 of Clarks, LA, will be held 1:00PM, Thursday, September 9, 2021, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Father Dale Meade serving as the officiant and eulogy to be given by Tommy Brown. The Reitzell family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks.

Theresa Rosas Reitzell was born on October 14, 1932 at Stafford, Texas to the union of her parents, Fernando and Francisco Rosas, and passed from this life on September 4, 2021 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Columbia. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. She loved her family and loved to feed them all as often as possible, as she loved to cook. She also loved to play Bingo and loved going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Ed Reitzell, and by her daughter Belinda Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons: Tommy Reitzell and Alva Reitzell; her daughter, Jennifer Reitzell; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Rosas.

Serving as pallbearers will be T. J. Reitzell, Tommy Brown, Brannon Brown, Derek Brown, Timmy Allen and Joe Guedara.
