Sr. Poole

Funeral services for H.L. Poole, Sr. age 67 of Grayson and formerly of Enterprise will be held 10AM Monday May 5, 2008 from the New Ouachita Baptist Church at Enterprise with the rev. Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosefield Cemetery, at Rosefield, La. All services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Howell Lindell Poole, Sr. was born on January 27, 1941 at Jonesville, La. to the union of his parents Nathan H.Poole and Dessie Mae McVay Poole. He passed from this life on Friday March 2, 2008 at the Louisiana Extended Health Care Hospital in West Monroe. H.L. was one of ten children. He was preceded in death by his sisters Vivian Sledge, Berder Chapman, and Mildred Morevan, and a brother David Poole. He was a member of the New Ouachita Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons: H.L.Poole, Sr. and wife Nicole of Grayson. Eric Poole & wife Robin Dianne of Manifest, La. and Sean Poole and wife Peggy of Jonesville. Two brothers-N.H. Poole of Jena and Hershel Poole of Enterprise. 2 Sisters- Effie Roark and Jolene McGuffee both of Enterprise. Four grandchildren MaKinlee Poole of Grayson, Lorin Coldiron , Christina Smart and Jessica Smart, all of Jonesville. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Roark, Curtis Roark, R.E. McGuffee, Glen McCormack, Billy Crawford, and Chris Powell. The Poole family will receive guests on Sunday May 4, 2008 from 6PM until 9PM at the New Ouachita Baptist Church, Enterprise, La.
