Sheila Dianne Perot

Funeral Services for Sheila Perot will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, La with Bro. Buster Duplissey officiating and interment following in Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home. 

Sheila Dianne Perot was born June 10,1950 in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Charles Edward Johnson and Grace Brister Johnson and passed from this life September 17, 2026 in Texas surrounded by her family. Sheila was a Hoot. She loved her family and shopping for them. She would buy the grandchildren clothes on top of clothes, and had to make sure there was one of every color! Sheila spoiled herself to her Yellow Box flip-flops. She also had to have all the colors. Sheila enjoyed painting, and working in her flower garden. She loved Christmas and would go all out decorating. 

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony Dempsy; son, Darryl Perot; grandchildren, Kade, Kolby, Maggie, Mary, Michael, and Martin; and a brother-in-law, Ted Sandifer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Children, Damon Perot and Dasha Perot; sister, Debbie Sandifer; grandchildren, MaKayla Perot (Mateo), Kale Perot (Emilie), Olivia Smith (Clayton); great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Adaleigh, Elias, Brinksley, and Brooks-Kade; niece and nephew, Jennifer and Byron Sandifer and their families.

Pallbearers will include James Girod, Shannon Demoss, Paul Johnston, Kale Perot, and Mateo Brightwell.
