Shane Edward Rieger

Funeral services for Shane Edward Rieger, age 20 of Calhoun, LA will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, May 30, 2021 from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Calhoun, LA with Bro. Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, LA. The family will have a visitation for family and friends at the church, prior to the service on Sunday, beginning at 1 PM.

Shane Edward Rieger was born August 23, 2000 in Monroe, LA and he passed from this life May 26, 2021. Shane was a young man who lived life to the fullest. He loved the adrenaline rush of speed - from motorcycles, fast cars or racing. He loved life and his joy spread to anyone around him. Nothing was more important to him than his family who he loved so much, but especially his precious daughter. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Pereira.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Evelyn Grace Rieger; parents, Marvin "Bubba" and Angel Rieger; fiancee and mother of his child, Erika Wyrick; brothers: Brian Rieger (Kayla), J.D. Rieger (Danielle), Jason Rieger, and Zach Rieger; sister, MaKayla Rieger; grandparents: Marvin and Doris Rieger and Dan Pereira (Jeannie); nieces and nephews: Addison Rieger, Aylivia Norwood, Riley Rieger, Mason Rieger, Logan Rogers, Brice Rieger, and Mitchell Rieger; as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Rieger, J.D. Rieger, Zach Rieger, Jason Rieger, Logan Rogers, and Mike Hutson.
