Sarah Beth Jones

Funeral services for Sarah Jones will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Straight Road Full Gospel Church in Olla, La. with Bro. John Norwood officiating and interment following at Beech Creek Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. 

Sarah Beth Lee Jones was born July 1, 1947 in Urania, La. to the union of her parents Willis Whitfield Lee Sr., and Alay Mae Smith Lee and passed from this life August 3, 2024 at her residence with her loved ones by her side. Sarah was a happy soul, who loved her family and was very much devoted to them and their needs. She loved laughing, playing cards, dominoes, and time spent with her family. In her earlier years she enjoyed yard work and fishing. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Sambo" Jones; her brothers:Whit Lee, Richard Lee, James Stanley Lee, Kenneth Lee, and Jack Lee. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeff Jones (Laura); grandchildren: Ariel Williams (Kyle), Alex Jones, Jessica Johnson; great-grandchildren: Lott Williams and Elie Williams.

Pallbearers include Jeff Jones, Alex Jones, Jonathan Biggs, Brandon Crafts, Trey Woodruff, and Charles Woodruff. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Lee and Kelvin Gresham.
