Services for Teresa Fatheree will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2024 at Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00.

Sandra Teresa Perkins Fatheree (10/22/51 - 1/28/24)   Born Sandra Teresa Perkins on October 22, 1951 in Columbia, Louisiana to her parents Annie Mae Perkins and William Arthur Perkins, she went on to be with the Lord January 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband James Michael "Mike" Fatheree, her mother Annie Mae "NaNaw" Hutson Perkins, father William Arthur "Papaw" Perkins, and her brother Jerry Lee “Bubba” Perkins. Teresa has left behind her daughter, Jamie Michelle Fatheree, her two grand children Sarah Nicole Bandy and James Marshall “Jake” Bandy, and three grand-dogs Levi Bandy, Tiona Fatheree, and Snickers Bandy-Hamling. She retired from the State of Louisiana with 34 years of service and the Caldwell Parish Sheriff’s Office with 27 years of service. She played trumpet and french horn throughout high school and carried that over into the Caldwell Community Band in later years where she played french horn. She loved to cook for all of those she loved and also those she didn't care for! She has made Martin Luther King day a day that some will never forget that have worked with her. She has always been a character and every person that has known her knows this. Visitation will be held at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana on Friday 2, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for friends with service to follow.
