Ronny Ray Hatten, age 69 of Grayson, LA, passed away on August 26, 2022, at his home in Grayson, LA following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from the Columbia Chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Bro. C.R. Martin officiating. The Hatten family will host visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Hatten family will have a private graveside service.
Ronny was born in Columbia, LA, to Ray and Clarice Hatten on March 27, 1953. He graduated from Caldwell Parish High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ronny was a very successful salesman and businessman. After working forty years at Monroe Welding Supply he started JR Sales and Equipment Rental. Ronny loved collecting fast cars, playing pool, shooting the bull with everybody, and raising/riding horses. Ronny will always be remembered for his cowboy hat and Dr. Tichenor's mouth wash.
Ronny is survived by his daughter Jennifer Hawkes (Kodie), son Jordan Hatten, daughter Shyann Winstead (Dustin), mother Clarice Hatten, brothers: Randy Hatten (Liz) and Ricky Hatten (Donna), grandchildren: Reese McDougal, Kase Hatten, and Brynlee Winstead, as well as a host of family and friends, including his beloved dog Randy.
He was proceeded in death by his father Ray Hatten, his daughter Angel Hatten, and his granddaughter Bella Ann Hatten.
Pallbearers include Jordan Hatten, Chris Hatten, Gabe Hatten, Jimmy Cerda, David Parker, and Ricky Garsee. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Neal Malcomb, Coy Waldrop, and Dennis Miller.
