Funeral Services for Ronnie Wayne Crawford will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, September 7, 2026, at Bellview Baptist Church, Columbia, LA. Interment will follow at Perot Hill Cemetery, Columbia, LA, under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00.
Ronnie Wayne Crawford, known as Wayne, was born September 27, 1953, in Brawley, California, passed from this life on September 5, 2026. He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him for the life he lived, the work of his hands, and the family he leaves behind.
Wayne was a painter by trade, dedicating his working years to his craft. Through his labor and steady hands, he built a life marked by hard work, perseverance, and care for those closest to him. He was a true southern outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling around the country on vacations. When at home, Wayne loved watching his westerns and football on television.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Crawford and Mary Roberts, and by his beloved wife, Gloria Crawford.
Wayne is survived by his brothers: Bobby Crawford, James Crawford, and Alan Crawford and wife, Janice; his sisters: Debbie Perot and husband, Clifton, Linda Alderman, and Ann Salsbury and husband, Chris. He is also survived by his children: Billy Wayne Crawford and wife, Pam, Roger Dale Bradford, Joseph Hilton Dukes Jr. and wife, Cheri, and Bryan Perot.
Wayne’s memory will live on through his grandchildren: Jeremy Crawford, Jennifer Stanfield, Matthew Crawford, Kristen Perot, Dusty Crawford, Courtney Crawford, Austin Crawford, Johnny Crawford, Micah Dukes, Michael Dukes, and Joseph Dukes.
He was blessed with great-grandchildren: August Crawford, Logan Thomas Jr., Freyer Thomas, Hasley Perot, Alisa Perot, and Rylan Perot, along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Perot, Dusty Crawford, Jamie Perot, Alan “Bubba” Crawford, Bobby Crawford, and James Wink. Honorary pallbearer will be Marty Perot.
Wayne’s life and legacy will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
