Robert Bryan Lamb, Jr. was born on July 6, 1961 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Robert “Bobby” Bryan Lamb, Sr. and Bobbie Ann LeGuin Lamb. He passed from this life on April 27, 2025 at Ochsner LSU Medical Center in Shreveport following an extended illness. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and by his younger sister, Kathryn Lee.
Robert truly was a man of great faith. He trusted in the Lord with all his heart, and he leaves the legacy of “living out his faith” to his family and friends. He was an active member of Grayson Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a Sunday School teacher working with both youth and adults for nearly thirty years. He loved his quiet time reading his Bible in the mornings. He loved “everything outdoors” including hunting, fishing, gardening, raising chickens, woodworking, and so much more. He loved watching things grow—whether it was plants in his garden or his two cherished children. He worked for Willamette Plywood for ten years and retired from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry after thirty-three years.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Emilee Lamb of Kelly; his son: Bryan Lamb (Jessica) of Grayson; his daughter: Anna Lamb (Matthew Melsheimer) of Kelly and his sister: Linda Freeland (Scott) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Mr. Lamb and his family chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
