Reba Joyce Ainsworth

Funeral services for Reba Ainsworth will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Rosefield Baptist Church with Bro. Rickey Gresham officiating. Interment will follow in Rosefield Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia.

Reba Joyce Finley Ainsworth was born in Olla, Louisiana, on March 24, 1940, to the union of her parents, Versie Finley and Margie Renfrow Finley and passed from this life January 14, 2026, at her residence. She loved the outdoors and never met a flower she didn't like. Reba loved gardening, deer hunting, fishing, and cooking. She loved getting up early, drinking coffee, and enjoying the sunshine. Reba was a happy person and loved her friends. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Alvin Julian "Pete" Ainsworth, Jr.; her parents; and her son-in-law, Mark Lindsey. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Ainsworth (Kristyn) and Connie Ainsworth Lindsey; sister, Nelda Faye Crabtree; grandchildren: Seth Lindsey (Jessie), Josh Lindsey (Rae), Ethan Ainsworth (Rainessa), and Zoey Hillestad (Trey); great-grandchildren: Presley Lindsey, Dane Lindsey, Harlow Bloom Hillestad, Sutton Hillestad; nieces, Kathy Bosomo and Teresa White; and a host of family and friends. 

The family would like to thank Diane Thorn and Amanda Jean Parker for the love and friendship they have shown to Reba.  Another thank you goes to Premier Hospice for the care they have shown in this difficult time. 

Pallbearers will include Josh Lindsey, Seth Lindsey, Russell Fields, Andy Gresham, Matt Moore, and Mickey Gresham. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Varnell and Tim Hannegan.
