Randy Allen Girod, Jr.

Randy Allen Girod, Jr. was born in Monroe, Louisiana on November 14, 1984 to the union of his parents, Randy Allen Girod, Sr. and Connie James Jones, and departed from this life in DeQuincy, Louisiana on August 3, 2020. Randy enjoyed baseball, fishing, music, and was a hard worker. He loved his family, and was very much loved by them, and will be greatly missed. Preceding him in death are his mother, his grandparents: Malcolm (Mannyboy) James, and Patricia and Everette Albritton, and his uncle, Mike James. Left to cherish his memory are his father: Randy Allen Girod, Sr.; his sister: Brandy Girod Swain and husband Jamie; his nieces: Laney, Gracey, Emylie, and Raylee; his grandparents: Millard and Carolyn Girod; his aunts: Linda James and her sons, Clay and Robert Clark, Wanda James and her daughter, Brittany Burdette, Gayla Girod and her children, Rainy and Gabe, and Ellen Girod; his uncle, Mark Girod and wife, Ellen and their daughters, Lexie, Haley, and Mallory; as well as numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Columbia chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Steve May and Colby Shoats officiating. Interment to follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Jason Anderson, David Anderson, Shannon Bennett, Ashley Henning, Chad Swain, and Dolph Darden.
