Quinton Poole

Services for Mr. Quinton Poole, age 89 of Columbia, will be 2 PM Friday, January 30, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Bro. Alban Poole officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 5 PM to 9 PM at the funeral home then again Friday morning from 9 AM until service time. Mr. Poole was born on March 4, 1919 in Summerville to the union of John Henry and Jannie Masters Poole and passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Sr. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Eula Mae Lutrick Poole and son, Quinton Ray Poole. Survivors include his three sons: Marion Lee Poole and wife, Jean of Columbia, Rick Poole and wife, Cynthia of Columbia and Jimmy Arthur Poole and wife, Babs of Pearl, MS, daughter: Patsy Sue Hennessey and husband, James "Slick" of Bacliff, TX, sister: Delcie Poole Roark of Aimwell, 11 grandchildren: Pamela Hennessey, Kimberly Hennessey, Patricia Hennessey, Tammy Poole, Tonia Poole-Wilkins, Teri Poole-Augustine, Michael Poole, Jimmy Joe Poole, Cindy Poole-Parker, Diane Poole-Valentine and Stephanie Poole and thirteen great grandchildren: Michael Burris, Matt Burris, Renee Poole, Caleb Poole, Chance Poole, Ryan Wilkins, Megan Parker, Haley Parker, Trey Parker, Matthew Valentine, Mark Valentine and Samantha Ann Harmon. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Joe Poole, David Wilkin, Ryan Wilkin, Kevin Floyd, JD Parker, Michael Poole, Jason "Talbert" Cannon, Matt Burris and Trey Parker.
