Quincy Lee Boyett, Jr., age 70 of Tullos, was born on December 17, 1955, at Olla, Louisiana, to the union of his parents, Quincy Lee Boyett, Sr. and Alvire Fitzgerald Boyett. He passed from this life on  April 20, 2026, at the Plantation Manor Nursing Center in Winnsboro following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his son Roger Boyett, and two sisters, Jeanette Carol Boyett and Peggy Sue Boyett Vickers. He worked in the log woods most all of his life. He was an  avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing but the primary hat he wore in life was that of a family man.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Harvey Boyette and wife, Ashleigh; brother, Sammy "Bingo" Boyett and wife, Sherral; two sisters: Mary "Dystie" Rushing and Frances Diane Dilley; and two grandchildren, Drake and Matthew.

Honorary pallbearers include Roy Spruell, Tuffy Smith, Joey Dilley, Wesley Boyett, Drake Boyette, and Mark Olden.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Riser and Son Funeral Home in Olla from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Brief remarks will be given by Bro. Willie Beaubeouf and Bro. Joey Paul.
