Patricia "Trish" Looman

Funeral services for Patricia Brown Looman will be held at 2 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023, at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson. The family will have a visitation prior to the service on Friday from noon until the service begins at 2 PM at the funeral home.

Patricia Brown Looman was born September 3, 1947, in Columbia, Louisiana to the union of Harris Sheffield Brown and Mary Belle Sanders Brown and passed away September 4, 2023, after a brief illness.

Trish, as she was known, was the youngest of seven siblings and was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Margaret Shell and Glenda Brown, and her brothers: W.P. "Nude" Brown, Robert Brown, Emmett Brown, and Lyndal Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Caldwell Parish, a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a faithful New Orleans Saints fan. Trish retired from Citizens Progressive Bank where she made many friends over the years. Trish's laugh was contagious and she could sing like a song bird. She had a mothering nature as well as a kind, giving spirit who always put others before herself. She was a caregiver for many years to her mother and siblings and she loved her nieces and nephews like her own. Trish so enjoyed spoiling their children and will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Close family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
