On July 14, 2026,Patricia “Pat” Lasyone decided her work on this earth was done, leaving behind her family who will miss her dearly and will forever smile—and laugh—whenever they think of her.

Born on March 21, 1952, in Monroe, Louisiana, Patricia lived a life defined by laughter, adventure, kindness, and just the right amount of stubbornness. She never met a stranger and was always the first to lend a hand. Patricia knew how to light up a room.

You could usually find her thrifting or preparing to entertain guests—she loved to feed people, and she loved to make them feel welcome.

Keeping her memory bright are her children, Phillip White and Brandy White McArver; her grandchildren,Shannon Bryant, Samantha McArver Welch,Sydney White and Kurt Hawkes; her great grandchild Amelia Welch, her siblings, Thurman Lasyone and Shirley Lasyone Barnes; and her nieces and nephews. Also holding her memory close is a multitude of friends and people she “adopted” and watched over—you know who you are.

Patricia is now reunited with her parents, Ruby Thomas Lasyone and Pinkey Lasyone, her sister Wyvone Lasyone Powe, and many beloved friends and family members gone before her. We imagine them all “cuttin a rug” and laughing over old times.

We will celebrate her life and honor her spunky spirit—just the way she would have wanted. Please join us to share stories and toast to Patricia on Saturday, August 1st, at Riser and Sons Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at11:00 a.m., with a service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
