Funeral services for Mr. Norman Marcus "Bo" Hogg , age 92, of Grayson will be held 10AM Tuesday August 12, 2008 graveside at the Crossroads Cemetery at Grayson with Bob McIlwain officiating. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation for the Hogg family will be on Monday from 5 to 7 PM at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Hwy 165, Columbia, La. Norman Marcus Hogg was born on October 10,1915 in Caldwell Parish to the union of his parents the late Issac Marvin Hogg and Elizabeth "Bessie" Jane Reeves Hogg. He was also preceded in death by his wife Oddie Roberson Hogg, his son James Marvin "Bud" Hogg , and by his brothers Sherman, Herman , and Kipe Hogg., and his sisters Omie Connors, Merle Roberts, Kathleen Avery, Mildred Hogg and Lillian Hogg. He passed from this life on Saturday August 9, 2008 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia following a brief illness. Survivors include two sons-Norman Earl Hogg and wife Jean and Larry N. Hogg all of West Monroe,La. Five grand children- Mike Hogg, Mark Hogg, Melissa Dawn Hightower, Norman C. Hogg, all of Grayson, and Chance Hogg of St. Louis,Mo. and nine Great Grand children,Sister Grace Avery of Boerne,Texas and sisters in law Ruth Hogg of Grayson, Mattie Mae Strawser of Colfax and Cloma Stewart of West Monroe. Pallbearers include Mike Hogg, Mark Hogg, Edsel Hogg, Marcus Smith, Craig Tarver, and Chance Hogg. Online condolences may be sent at riserfuneralhomes.com
