Obituary

Funeral services for Nathan Michael Morrow, age 33 of Columbia and formerly of Dubach, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Joyner officiating. The family will receive visitors prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM  

Nathan Michael Morrow was born on October 10, 1992, at Ruston, Louisiana, to his parents, James Vincent Welch and Candy Michelle Morrow, and he passed from this life on July 2, 2026. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Adam Wright and by his son, Max Morrow. Nathan joined the United States Army in 2013 following graduation from Dubach High School in 2011. As a little boy he always dreamed of being a soldier. He was fearless and he loved fiercely and hard. During his youth he grew up on a baseball field.

Survivors include his wife, Ciarra Morrow; his mother, Candy Morrow (James); his father-figure, Autrey Young; his son, Ezra Morrow; two daughters, Victoria Morrow and Aryanna Morrow, and his sister, Sarah Klouda (Erik).

He liked working with electronics and was a Cable Technician. He enjoyed traveling for work.  He loved spending time with his children, playing video games and building with Legos. He was loved by all his family and his friends. He will always be missed.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Joyner, Jacob Joyner, Jacob Bass, Travis Foster, Daniel Powell and Noah Powell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Riser Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
