Funeral services for Marylin Janet Carraway age 73 of Tullos will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday August 19, 2026 from the Olla chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cripps officiating. Bro. Dominic DeCarlo will deliver the graveside message. Interment will follow in the New Union Cemetery at Tullos. The Carraway Family will receive visitors on Tuesday August 18, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Marylin was born on January 7, 1953 at Urania, LA to the union of her parents, George Washington Allbritton and Essie Irene Sumrall. She passed from this life on August 14, 2026 at her residence in Tullos following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewayne Carraway and two brothers Fran and Bobby Allbritton.She attended Life Church La Salle and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons Joel Carraway, Jason Carraway (Amanda) and Jeremy Carraway (Paige); three brothers, Sylvanius Allbritton, Eugene Allbritton and Glen Allbritton; her sister, Sue Drake (Randy) and three grandchildren, Kenlee, Kaylee and Jace.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Carraway, Dustin Spratt, Eric Paulson, Mark Lincecum, Gabriel Lincecum and Tucker Hartwell. Honorary pallbearers include  Barbara Patten and Bradley Spratt.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funmeral expenses.
