Memorial services for Mary Louise "Granny" Smith, age 80 of Grayson, will be Saturday, November 14, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Grayson. Mrs. Smith was born to the union of Eddie Bee Richardson and Willie Cooper Beckham and passed from this life on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Jimmy McGraw and R.H. "Skeeter" Smith, two children: Rita Jordan and Edgar McGraw, grandson; Keith Shamblin, great-grandson Gavin Johnson and three brothers: L.C. Beckham, James Beckham and Carl Beckham. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy and Jimmy Whittington, Angela and Bill Hill and Diane and Mike Hollenshead, step-sons and daughters-in-law: Aaron and Mary Smith, Charles and Tresea Smith and Joe and Ann Smith, brothers; George Beckham and wife, Elma and Frank Beckham and wife, Mary, sisters-in-law: Helen Beckham, Jerry Beckham and Vera Beckham, nine grandchildren: Jenny Gibson and husband, Andy, Christy Montgomery, Victoria Greene, Logan Whitten, Kyle Smith and wife, Emily, Tabatha Johnson and husband, T.J., Nick Smith, Josh Smith and Rebekah Harlan and husband, Jonathan, eleven great-grandchildren: Heather Montgomery, Jeopardy Lord, Corey Greene, Cameron Greene, Chloe Greene, Michael Greene, Ayden Smith, Aaron Thompson, Lillian Sway Johnson, Cody Shamblin and Whitney Shamblin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
