Mary Virgina Myers

Mary Virginia Myers was born in Oak Grove, Louisiana on July, 20, 1947 to the union of her parents, Lewis LaForge and Ruth Hill LaForge and passed from this life December 17, 2025 at Haven Nursing Home. 

Ginger was easy going, and enjoyed her simple life. She loved going to garage sales, looking around, and collecting anything she wanted. Ginger also enjoyed playing games on her tablet, and scrolling through face book. She took pride in her children and grandchildren. She loved them unconditionally. 

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry "Bear" Myers; her son, Robbie LaForge; five brothers and three sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Rollan Myers and Marty Myers; her brother, Rodney LaForge (Evelyn); two sisters, Willie Nell Brown (Jerry) and Gussie LaForge; grandchildren, Kayla Myers and Brittney Myers; and six great-grandchilden. 

The family would like to send thanks to Haven Nursing Home and Ascend Hospice for the love and care shown to Ginger.

The family has honored Gingers wish to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
