Graveside Memorial service for Mrs. Lula Terri McKeithen will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 8, 2024 at Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Family and friends may begin to gather at 10:45 AM.

Loula Theresa (Callais) McKeithen earned her wings on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center in El Reno, OK. 

Terri, as she was known as, was born Oct. 15, 1943, in Cutoff, LA to Theophile & Victoria (Vizier) Callais. Terri graduated from LCO Larson High School in Cut Off, LA, and after graduation, joined the U.S. Air Force. While in the military, she served has a state side medic during the Vietnam War. She was discharged from the Air Force in Sept 1964 to start a family. Terri had 4 children. She lived in several places but in April 2000 moved to Grayson, LA, residing there with husband, Billy McKeithen. Terri held many different jobs over her life but the one she was most passionate about was her job as a Veteran’s Case Worker for the Veteran’s Administration. She retired from the VA in 2006 and after the death of her husband moved to Mustang, OK in 2013 where she lived at Willowwood Assisted Living. She moved to St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center in El Reno, OK in March 2024 until her death. 

Terri is preceded in death by her son, Donald Wilson, her parents, and 1 sister, Geraldine Ayo. 

She is survived by 3 daughters, Theresa and Todd Flannery of Mustang, OK, Tracey and Steve Michalicka of Union City, OK, and Tammy and Dave (late) Malone of Orlinda, TN, 1 sister, Jeanette Wingert of Cut Off, LA, and 2 bothers, Teddy and MaryAnn Callais of Golden Meadow, LA, and Todd Callais of Cut Off, LA.

Terri was blessed with 6 Grandchildren: Jessica Smith, Samantha Rothenay, Kera Malone-Parker, Victoria Dulmes, Nickolas Flannery, and Joshua Michalicka, along with 6 great grandchildren: Rayvn George, Berkeley Smith, Clay Smith, Karleigh Dulmes, Jordyn Dulmes, Bentlee Dulmes, and Evelyn Rothenay. 

Full Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
