Lula Majarie Hardin

Funeral services for Lula Majarie Antley Hardin will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Bro. Norman Bryant officiating and Bro. John Yates reading the eulogy. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home. The family will have visitation on Thursday prior to the service from 9 AM until 11 AM at the funeral home.

Lula was born September 9, 1933, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Etholene Sikes Antley and Willis Maloy Antley, and she passed from this life July 15, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church in Monroe. She enjoyed singing praises to the Lord! At one time, her family had a singing group which she was a huge part of. Lula was a devoted wife and mother. Her life's work was making a loving, Godly home for her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Julius Hardin; her son, Tim Hardin; brothers: Willis Antley, Herschel Antley, and Charles Antley; sisters, Odell Simpson and Katherine Thigpen; and grandson, Neal Hebert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa Hebert of Shreveport and Judy Bell (Bill) of Monroe; son, Mark Hardin (Cynthia) of West Monroe; daughter-in-law, Natalie Hardin; her granddaughters: Kayla Palmer of Florida, Kim Yon Hardin of California, Kimberly Deloach of Texas, Kristen Boydstun of Louisiana, Klara Morgan of California, and Taylor Hardin of Texas; grandson, Jack Bell of Louisiana; and 30 great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Matt Boydstun, Levi Boydstun, Nathan Kelley, and Jacob Palmer.
