Louise Pearl Stott Exline

Funeral service for Louise Pearl Stott Exline, age 62 of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from the sanctuary of Outreach Baptist Church, Columbia with Rev. C. R. Martin and Rev. Bill Britt officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson and will be under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. The Exline family will receive visitors on Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021, at the church from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Known by everyone simply as Lou, she was born on June 29, 1959 at Pineville, LA to the union of her parents, Carroll Lee Stott and Roxie Ann Vallery Stott and she passed from this life on September 17, 2021, at the Intensive Specialty Hospital in Shreveport following a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents, Ernest Vallery and Mildred Vallery; her in-laws, Hilda “Mama” Exline and Jack Exline, and James “Bub” Exline; her brother-in-law, John “Dick” Knight; and beloved family friend, Jeffery Kyle Rogers.

To know Lou was to love her without question. She was always looking around to see if she could help someone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She was a very active member of Outreach Baptist Church, where she worked in the kitchen, always providing food to anyone in need. In her lifetime she worked at and even owned the famous Clarks Cafe. She was also a cafeteria worker in the Caldwell Parish School System.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories is her husband, C. M. “B-Line” Exline of Clarks; son, Bull Exline and wife, Reva of Copenhagen; three daughters: Bridgette Guinn and husband, Shawn of Clarks, Ann Wallace and husband, Jeremy “Dan” of Grayson, and Connie Exline and Cody Gunter of Clarks; two brothers: Michael Lee Stott and wife, Susan of Ball and John Stott and wife, Kim of Olla; her sister, Antoinette “Toni” Stapleton of Clarks; her ten grandchildren who were a light in her life: Jeremy Guinn and wife, Kaylee Guinn, Lucas Exline (Umbilical Cord), Lexi Wallace, Dayton Exline “Day Day”, Cameron Guinn, Briar Lapararie, Kaden Wallace, Kerrigan Hardy, Brennan Hardy, and her best friend, Brooklyn Exline; and one great-grandchild: Luke “Lag” Guinn; and a great host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Guinn, Jeremy Guinn, John McIlwain, Mitch Bratton, Lucas Exline and Lavaughn Tisdale. Honorary pallbearers include Jeremy “Dan” Wallace, Randy Hatten, Tom Exline, Jeff Glass, Jason Morris and members of the Caldwell Parish Police Jury.
