Linda Charlene Smith Bailey

Funeral services for Linda Charlene Bailey will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Crossroads Baptist Church with interment following in Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00PM. 

Linda Charlene Smith Bailey was born in Delhi, La on February 25, 1956 to the union of her parents, Fred Smith and Floriece Walker Smith, and passed from this life February 8, 2026 at her residence following a brief illness. 

Charlene was a simple but loving person. She worked at the sheriffs department for many years until her health started to decline. Charlene enjoyed playing games on her phone, crocheting, and drinking coffee. She loved her animals and her family, but would always wait patiently for Anna to pull up in the driveway to take her riding backroads and go shopping.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray Bailey. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Cody Ray Bailey (Shelby); daughters, Christy Ashley (Travis), Jennifer Bailey (Dwayne); brothers, Billy Smith (Renaye), Danny Smith (Sherly); twin sister, Darlene May (Algae), Kim Hatton; brother-in-law, Joe Bailey; sister-in-law, Cindy Bailey Perry; grandchildren, Brooke, Malorie, Gracie, Anna, Montana; great-grandchildren, Gus, Willow, Wylder, Poppy, Vera, and Ivy.

Pallbearers will include, Neal Miller, Travis Ashley, Dwayne Humphries, John Smith, Chris May, William Hatton. Honorary pallbearers include Algae May, Billy Smith, Danny Smith, John Dobbins, Jason Smith, Greg Smith, Daniel May, Brandon Bailey, Keith Bailey, Jeremy Hatton, Cindy Bailey.
