Linda Faye Brown Cubbit

Graveside Services for Linda Cubbit will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, August 26, 2024, at Fellowship Cemetery in Columbia, La. with interment following directly after. Visitation will be held Monday at Riser Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, then we will process to Fellowship Cemetery.

Linda Faye Brown Cubbit was born June 13, 1948 in Monroe, LA to the union of her parents, Albert Brown and Verdis Spangler Brown and passed from this life peacefully on August 24, 2024. 

Linda was preceded in death by her Father, Albert Brown, Mother, Verdis Brown, Brothers, Jack Brown, Dalton Brown, Sisters, Bertie Mae Lowe, Gladys Cruse, Margaret Holland.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Jerry Cubbit; daughters, Misti Cader and husband Jon, Tasha Cubbit; sister, Mary Gray; grandchildren, Dorrian Gagne and wife Amy, Hunter Morris and wife Sydney, Jon Michael Cader, Kirsten Cubbit; great-grandchildren, RaeLynn Morris, Houston Morris, Aurora Gagne; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Linda was very loving, caring, and God fearing woman. She loved big and with her whole heart. Linda loved working with her flowers and making sure Jerry kept it weedeated and looking nice. She also enjoyed watching westerns and drinking diet coke.

Pallbearers will include Dorrian Gagne, Hunter Morris, Jon Michael Cader, David Norris, and Earnest Ramsey.
