Graveside funeral services for Leslie Diane McKinney May age 51 of Clifton, Tennessee will be held 10:00AM Wednesday September 9, 2020 at the Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia, LA with Chris Duke officiating. Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Leslie Diane May was born on December 20, 1968 at Stark, Florida and passed from this life on Friday September 4, 2020 at her residence in Clifton, Tennessee. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. She was a people person and exemlified this with the love she showed for her family and friends. She was always busy trying to help others around her. She loved to cook and was known for her skills in the kitchen as she prepared her meals with love. She was a hard worker and although she mastered many different skills in her lifetime she loved being a florist and was known for the beauty she created through flowers. Her home in Clifton sat on the Tennessee River , a place she loved living at and the place where she wanted to die, and she did so with her precious family by her side. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Marion Eugene May, JR of Clifton; two daughters: April Duke and husband Chris of Dubach, LA and Arvenia Cunningham and husband Mike of Alliance, Ohio; her beloved grandchildren who called her "Grammy": Daniel Duke, Ansaley Duke, Robbie Cunningham and Lily Cunningham; and her precious son: J J May. Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Duke, Mike Cunningham, Michael Blocker, Terry Hall, Daniel Duke and Eric Little. Honorary pallbearers include Gene May, SR, J J May, Bobby Mann, Robbie Cunningham, Jimmy Hawkins, Wayne Kent and Danny Ogg. In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Society, St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital or the ASPCA. Online registry/condolences: riserfuneralhomes.com
