Leslie Richard Hill

Leslie "Richard" Hill was born on June 16, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, and peacefully passed from this life on August 2, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Professionally, Richard was an alarm technician, a career that he enjoyed for over thirty years. He was a devoted husband to Sandra Kay Hill, sharing 26 beautiful years of marriage. Their bond was grounded in their faith and love for God and each other.

He was a proud grandfather to James Crowell and his wife, Brittney, and a loving great-grandfather to their children, Makayla and Jayden Crowell.

Richard's love extended far beyond his immediate family. He was deeply loved by his nieces: Johnna Hill-Leach and her husband Randy, La Tonia Simms, Michele Mendez, Sharon Quiroz, Stacie Salas, and many other relatives and dear friends whose lives he touched.

Richard is preceed in dfeath by his beloved mother, Lilian Perkins, and his brother, John Hill, who both held a special place in his heart, and he cherished those relationships every day of his life.

Let us not say goodbye, but rather, until we meet again. May Richard rest in eternal peace, and may we carry his memory forward in how we love, how we give, and how we live.
