Funeral services for Laura Sue Hogan, age 59, of Grayson will be held 2:00 PM Sunday February 22, 2026 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickasaw  Cemetery at Olla. The Hogan Family will receive visitors on Saturday February 21, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Laura was born on April 12, 1966 at Frankfurt, Germany,  to the union of her parents, Richard De Lee Hogan and Rosemary Francis Hogan and passed from this life on February 17, 2026 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Glenn Hogan. Laura's happiest day was when she was riding a horse all day long.  She loved all animals and they loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is the son she never had: Lane Varnell (Leah Gebhart) and two sisters: Deborah H. Price (Harold) and Lisa Ann Fields; her grandchildren: Dexter De Lee Price (Amanda) and Jonathan Keith Varnell. Her great Nieces and nephews: Mackenzie Price, Phoebe Price,  and Eli Augustus Arrington.

Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Doughty, Joe Temple, Robbie Randall, Jake Smith, Chris Oram and Heath Hardy.
