Funeral services for Kathy Michelle Johnson, age 59, of Olla will be held 1:00 PM Thursday September 10, 2026 from the sanctuary of Urania Pentecostal Church with Pastor Clay Hutto officiating assisted by Bro. Jerry Johnson. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery east of Olla under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. The Johnson Family will receive visitors on Thursday at the church from 10:30 until time of service at 1:00 PM.
Kathy Michelle Johnson was born on March 11, 1967 in Alexandria, LA to the union of her parents Alton Fife Johnson and Helen Louise Thacker Johnson. She passed from this life on September 8, 2026 at her residence in Olla following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Lamar Johnson, Theresa Shelton, Robbin Johnson, Pamela Johnson, Ronnie Shelton and her nephew, Alan Shelton.
Kathy was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother , Maw Maw and Aunt. She loved her cooking shows and police drama on Television. She was also known for being a crackup and very much a jokester. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Aaron Johnson (Katlyn), two daughters, Amanda Johnson (Chris) and Jessica Johnson (Justice) and her beloved grandchildren Zaiden Johnson, Skylar Johnson, Zander Johnson and Rowan Masoner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be J. W. Sumrall, A. C. Carter, Matthew Nugent, Mikey Walton, Gleen Shelton and Joshua Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Heinley and David Haas.
