Kathryn Dunn Willis, age 81,was born on December 30, 1942, at Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, the late Creston Dunn and Eula E. Blackmon Dunn. She passed from this life on January 26, 2024, at the Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rayville following an extended illness. 

Kathryn spent her career as a legal receptionist. She loved to read and write romance novels. Music was one of the great loves of her life until the 1960's came along. She came from a very large, loving and caring family. She always loved her family gatherings and loved to travel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. To all who knew and loved her she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, William Howard Martin and Rowell Willis; step-daughter, Kathy Womack and numerous siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Whitney Martin (William Ryan) and their children, Bailey Adams (Ben) and Will Ryan, and Ashley Daily and her son, Ethan Dailey; one son, Gray Martin (Meloney) and their child, Camryn Martin, two great-grandchildren, Rylan Sisk and Asher Adams; step-daughters: Brenda Smith (Doug) and grandson, Patrick McIntosh, and LaJean Corbett and her children, Trey Corbett and Julia Crigler (Thomas), great-grandchildren, Boyd and J.G. Crigler; Kathy's children: Lauren Knicely, Katie Leone (Trey) and Blair Knicely; and step-son, Lee Willis (Jenny) and their children, Creston Pickell (Josh) and Jordan Willis. 

There will be a Celebration of Life for Mrs. Willis at 10:30 AM, Monday, January 29, 2024, at Columbia Hill Cemetery, Columbia, LA with family and friends beginning to gather at 10:00 AM.

The Willis Family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her sister-in-law, Kathy Darnell who was a special caregiver, Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation center for opening their hearts to their mother in her declining days. They would also like to thank Ascend Hospice, Management and Staff for their devotion to their mom.
