Jr. Finley

Services for Arwood Lynn Finley, Jr., age 58 of Columbia, will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Christians Sharing Christ church in Clarks with Bro. Larry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at fellowship Cemetery in Columbia. Visitation will be Tuesday evening April 14, 2009 from 5PM to 9PM. Mr. Finley was born on December 21, 1950 in Monroe to the union of Arwood Lynn Sr. and Ouida Marie Richmond Finley and passed from this life on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at his residence. Lynn was a mechanic at his own alternator and starter shop. He was a member of Columbia Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Mason Lodge in Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joseph Keith Finley. Survivors include his wife; Marilyn May Finley, two sons; Arwood Lynn Finley, III and wife, Katie of Plymouth, MA and Joseph Patrick Finley pf Plymouth, MA, daughter; Kimberly Patricia Finley of Tioga, step-son; Tyler Kyle "Tweeter" Warren of Columbia, three step-daughters; Debra Kay Gonzales and husband, Mark of Columbia, Melissa Sheree Warren and Jeramie Gobert of Baton Rouge and Sarah Lynn Warren of Columbia, two brothers; Danny Finley and wife, Karen of Grayson and Kenneth Finley, Sr. and wife, Mary Jo of Columbia, sister; Susan Finley of Grayson, four grandchildren; Audrey Claire Finley, Amelia Grace Finley, Shelbi Brooke Gonzales and Finley Patrick Wells, special companion; Sweet Pea, and Jeff and Diane Lloyd who were like another brother and sister along with a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeff Lloyd, AB Strange, "Flash" Paul Briscoe, Mark Gonzales, Kenny Finley, Tyler Finley, Jeramie Gobert and Christopher May. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Varnell, Odis Brown, Hunter Bassett, Alex Basco, William Fisher, Jarred McGuffee, Brandon Eady, Greg Parker, Red May, Jared Finley, Wesley Burch, Larry Cubbitt, Michael Allen and Patrick Coleman.
