Jerry Lynn Thames

Jerry Lynn Thames was born on February 13, 1950 at Olla, LA to the union of his parents, the late Jesse Willard Thames and Ira Evelyn Corbitt Thames.  He passed from this life on December 25, 2022 at his residence at Grayson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruthy Terrell Thames and his brother Willard Thames. Jerry Lynn was big into racing cars, collecting classic cars and loved collecting and riding Harleys. He enjoyed a simple country way of life.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, J. B. Thames; two daughters, Glenda Jackson (Bruce) and Lynette Pennington (Chris); his grandchildren, Jhloe Thames, J.B. Thames, Aubrey Sanderson and Madelyn Sanderson; his great-grandchildren, Camdon Chisley and Machaela Williams; and his nephew Hoopie Thames (Kim).

The Thames Family lovingly honored Mr. Thames wishes by choosing cremation.
