Jeannie Dale Myers

Funeral services for Jeannie Dale Myers will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026, at Riser Funeral Home, Olla, Louisiana, with Bro. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Georgetown, LA. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the funeral home in Olla, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Jeannie Dale Myers was born October 31, 1967, in Columbia, LA, to the union of her parents, Henry Ernest Dale and Carol Hennigan Dale, and she passed from this life October 2, 2026, at her home in Olla, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Dale and her stepfather, Clifford A. Mills. 

Jeannie always wore a smile and brightened every room she entered. She worked as a tax associate at H&R Block and was always there to help others. She enjoyed babysitting and loving on the little ones. Jeannie loved to fish with Jake. She would get out on the water every chance she got, enjoying their time together. Her greatest love was her family. She treasured the time she spent with her nieces and nephews. Jeannie was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Jake Myers; her mother, Carol Mills; her brothers and sisters: Bo Dale (Deb) of Olla, Rhonda Wilson, Stacy Myers, and Vicky Howard (Jeff) all of Hebert, Brian Mills (Julie) of Georgetown, and David Mills (Brandy) of Olla; along with a host of nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Daisy. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Mills, Jacob Mills, JJ Dale, Justin Beaubouef, Dylan Mills, and Joshua Mills. Honorary pallbearers are Haden Doughty, Hunter Doughty, and Heath Dale.
