James Michael Hogg

Funeral services for Mike Hogg will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2026, at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Grayson, Louisiana with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday prior to the service from 12:00 until 2:00. 

James Michael Hogg was born November 18, 1963, in Columbia, Louisiana, to the union of his parents, James Marvin Hogg and Charlotte Ann Honeycutt Hogg and he passed from this life February 19, 2026, at his residence in Grayson. James was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind a daughter, Erica Foster (Troy); and two siblings, Mark Hogg (Marsha) and Dawn Perkins (Robert).

Mike was known for his craziness. He was a simple man, who did things his way. Mike worked hard when he worked and played hard when he played. He had a good heart and loved aggravating his family and friends. He enjoyed being outside just living his life, riding 4-wheelers, or just sitting there. 

Pallbearers will be Mark Hogg, Cameron Hogg, Collin Hogg, Marcus Smith, Robert Perkins, and Peyton Hightower.

The family asks that  in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cross Roads Cemetery.
