Horace Grover Ketchens

Horace Grover Ketchens ,age 72, was born on June 13, 1954, at Jena, LA, to the union of Jacker Oswald Ketchens and Flossie Weaver Ketchens, and he passed from this life on June 14, 2026, at the St. Dominic's hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Ketchens spent the majority of his working life as a truck driver, but later in life, he went into the ministry. He was a Methodist minister and served in various churches. 

Horace was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Candace; his brother, Bobby W. Ketchens, and his beloved son, Josh Ketchens.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Carrie Gill; his former wife and friend, Mrs. Sherry McFall; his caregivers: Vicky Green, Darlene Reynolds, Sue Caraway, Samantha Weatherford; his friend, Sharon Campbell, step-son: Kurt Lott (Cherie) and Daniel Martin, as well as extended family.
