Funeral services for Harold Wayne Tarver age 81 of Fort Worth, Texas were held at 12:30 PM on April 13, 2026 graveside at the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson with Bro. Adam Tarver officiating. Services were entrusted to Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Harold Wayne was born on September 22, 1945 at San Augustine, Texas to the union of his parents, the late  Howard Willie Tarver and Cecil Nadine Bennefield Tarver. He passed from this life  on April 8,2026 at his residence in Fort Worth, Texas.

Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a Trucker and a Tractor Rig Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Tarver and two sons: Howard Dean Tarver and Erik Paul Brast and a granddaughter Chelsea Lynn Brast. 

Left to cherish his memory are his step son: William Hammock, Sr and a daughter: Tina Phillips (Conway); two brothers: Pat Tarver (Tweety) and Paul Tarver (Linda) twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbeaarers were Adam Tarver, Tyler Tarver, William Hammock, SR, William Hammock JR and Conway Phillips. Honorary pallbearers include Pat Tarver, Paul Tarver and Glenn Belk.
