Gloria Ann May

Gloria Ann May was born on December 28, 1941 at Clarks, Louisiana to the union of her parents, John Matthew Tumlinson and Lillie Doolittle Tumlinson, and she passed from this life on January 24, 2022 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center In Lafayette, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband John Wesley May, SR. She and her husband operated May Saw Mill on Old Union Road in Grayson for most of their adult life until retirement.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Debra Dale, Lisa Johnson and Lana Sanders; her three sons: John May, JR, Jesse Ray May and Jeff May. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carol Ann, Melissa (Taylor), Dylan (Jessica), Cameron (Kayla), Dustin (Morgan), William, Michael, Taylor (Casey) and Bentlee; her great-grandchildren: Anna, Addie, Bradi Kate, Beckett, Andrew, Ava, Nolan, Jaxon, Rowan, River, LaKynn, Landon, Kate and Zaidee, and her sister Mabel Saxon.


In accordance with Ms. Gloria's wishes the family chose cremation . Memorial service information will be updated in the next few days.
