Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Ann Grant, 71 of Columbia will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 3, 2017 from the sanctuary of Cross Roads Baptist Church at Grayson with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Bethel Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be held on Monday January 2,2017 at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Gloria Ann Barnhill Grant was born at Epps, Louisiana on November 17, 1945 to the union of her parents Marvin Edward Barnhill and Arletha Lingefelt Barnhill and she passed from this life on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at her residence following a brief illness. She and her husband together were co-owners of Grant Wrecker Service in Columbia. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Gloria was loved by all who were knew her and she will be greatly missed. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her husband: Lee Wayne Grant of Columbia, her daughter: Brenda Lea Ramsey and fiancée Rory Kenly of Rayville, LA; four brothers: Thomas W. Barnhill (Carol) of Columbia, Glen Barnhill (Elaine)of Clarks, Roy Barnhill (Carolyn) of White Hall and Maynard Barnhill of Grayson; four sisters: Jean Patton of Olla, Sue Gibson(Calvin) of Columbia, Margaret Stapleton (Luther)of Clarks and Blanche Gibson of Grayson; her grand-daughter: Ashley Ann Howard and husband Michael of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and one step grand-daughter: Mary Evelyn Ramsey of Eros; and one great-grandchild: Ryan Mims of Calhoun, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Wayne Kelly, Mitch Bratton, Michael Howard, Ryan Mims, and Clint Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald "Red" Renfro, Randy Hatten, Hunter and Gunner Gibson and Rory Kenly. Online registry/condolences: riserfuneralhomes.com
