Glenn Barnhill was born on September 25, 1948 at Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, the late Marvin Edward Barnhill and Arletha Lincolnfelt Barnhill. He passed from this life on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia.

Glenn served in the Caldwell Parish Police Jury. He was a friend to all . It was not uncommon to see Glenn out and about delivering Turnip Greens, Sweet Potatoes and other items to his friends and  constituents in his Police Jury Ward.

Surviving Glenn is his daughter: Amy and husband Ricky, and Glenn's son Matthew Barnhill.

Grandchildren and great grandchildren: Christian, Dawn Holmes, Jamie Crain, Marley and Zach Harmon.

Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday July 5, 2026 from the sanctuary of Cross Roads Baptist Church with Bro Shane Duke officiating. The Family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM.
