Ginger Gale Taylor

Graveside services for Ginger Taylor will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Olla Cemetery with Bro. Brian Rankin officiating and interment following under direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Olla Cemetery from 12:30 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM.

Ginger Gale Gilbert Taylor was born in Kelly, La., on May 14, 1939 and she passed from this life January 4, 2024 at her residence in Olla. Ginger was a peaceful person. She lived and worked in California until she retired and moved back home. Ginger turned into a homebody. She enjoyed canning vegetables from their garden, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, and chatting with her sisters on the phone. Ginger was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Hansford Taylor; and her brother, Jack Gough. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sisters: Ann Rankin and Nancy Lansdale (David); and a host of nieces and nephews.
