Frances Diane Dilley was born on February 2, 1960, at Monroe, LA,  to the union of her parents, Quincy Boyett Sr. and Alvire Fitzgerald Boyett. She passed from this life on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness.

Frances Diane was preceded in death by her husband, O. J. Dilley; her parents; brother, Quincy Boyett Jr.; three sisters: Jeanette Carol  Boyett, Mary Boyett Rushing, and Peggy Sue Boyett Vickers; and her nephew, Johnny Wayne Dilley. 

To say that Frances Diane loved life would be an understatement. She was also a force to be reckoned with. The emptiness in her family's hearts cannot be measured. She leaves behind her brother, Sammy Boyett and wife, Sherral and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers  include Wesley Boyett, Harvey Ray Boyett, David Boyett, Joey Dilley, Christopher Dilley and Larry Sikes.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday,  July 27, 2026, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with  Rev. Clay Hutto and Rev. Willie Beaubeouf officiating. The family will receive guests on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Honoring  Mrs. Dilley's wishes, she will be cremated following the service.
