Services for Mrs. Evie Earlene Cox Southall, age 64 of Tullos will be 1 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from the sanctuary of Calvary Baptist Church in Winnfield with Rev. Duane Moreno and Rev. Craig James officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Winnfield. Visitation will be at 2 PM until Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church in Winnfield. Mrs. Southall was born on January 3, 1944 in Winn Parish to the union of Jessie Calvin and Ruby Rachel Midkiff Cox and passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winnfield. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 32 years; Jim Southall, son; Brad Southall and his wife, Barbara of Tullos, four daughters; Sandy Wilson of Georgetown, Amy Haworth and her husband, Sandy Lee of Tullos, Nicky Mapp and her husband, Josh of Olla and Janelle Southall of Ripley, WV, three brothers; David Cox and his wife, Violet of Tullos, James Cox and his wife, Grace of Dodson, Herbert Cox and his wife, Thelma of Tullos, three sisters; Rachel Woods and her husband, Bill of West Monroe, Darlene Vines and her husband, Bev of Dodson, Tish Vail and her husband, Garry of Jena and Shirley McGuire and her husband, Bobby of Columbia and eight grandchildren; Jesse Wilson, Eric Wilson, Courtney Haworth, Ashley Haworth, Rachel Haworth, Lakin Southall, Samantha Southall and due in March, Amelia Mapp. Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Luther Byrd and Roy Mercer.
