Edna Ruth Hargrove

Funeral Services for Edna Hargrove will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Palestine Baptist Church with John Bradley officiating and interment following in Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Palestine Baptist Church from 10:00AM Tuesday until time of service at 12:00.

Edna Ruth Collins Hargrove was born December 9, 1934 in Columbia, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Hez Collins and Jessie Morris Collins and passed from this life peacefully July 24, 2026 at her residence. Edna was a one of a kind. She loved her family, going places, looking around, shopping and visiting. Edna enjoyed fishing growing up, and and she got older she liked her puzzle books and sitting on the porch.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; and a niece, Kat Walker. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rhonda Hargrove; sister, Jackie Saxson (Jim); and her friend, Laverne Bailey.

Pallbearers will include, Mark Hargrove, Mike Hargrove, Steve Millien, Junior Bailey, Dean Delancy, Joshua Actons, and John Actons.
