Dustin was born February 25, 1985, in Monroe, LA, and he passed away August 11, 2025, in Atlanta, LA. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he developed a love for working on diesel engines and doing body work, especially painting cars. After leaving the military he worked as a directional driller but he continued to work on and restore old cars. Dustin loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid golfer. He had a talent for cooking but relied on his mom to give him her recipes and cooking tips. Dustin always had a smile on his face and was quite the jokester. He loved to prank his kids and get them to smile and laugh. He loved his children more than anything and he really loved his momma too. He was a cherished son, father, brother, cousin, and friend who will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Larry Rider, Kathy and C. L. Stamper, and Paul and Jackie Black.
Those he leaves behind are his parents: Ronnie Glen DeMoss (Ashley) and Sam Rider Yeats (Charles); children: Alexis Canter (Beau), Rebecca DeMoss, Logan DeMoss, and Colt DeMoss; siblings: Daniel DeMoss, Dallas DeMoss (Brooklyn), Samuel DeMoss, Derek Steen (Kristy), Lauren George (Kade), Cole Black, and Tessa Black (Zach); and his grandparents: Lucille Garrett, and Martha and Kenneth Yeats.
