Donna Sue Blackman Hanks

Donna Sue Blackman Hanks was born January 8, 1947 in  St. Helens, Oregon to her parents, John T. Blackman and LuElla McKeithen Blackman and passed from this life on December 3, 2023 at Haven Nursing Home in Columbia, La. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald Wayne Hanks.

Luke 10:34 And went to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Donna loved and cared for many people as a LPN for over twenty-five years. She worked several of those years at Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe. She had a smile that made you feel good! When not helping others she loved to read good books.

We would like to give a special thanks to the Haven Nursing Home and Ascent Hospice working close together to ensure the needed care for Donna. We felt like we were with family the whole time there at the Haven. The residents loved Donna and she loved them! God has been so good!
