Donald Micheal Billmeier

Celebration of life for Donald Billmeier will be held Monday December 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia LA. with Bro. Heath Barnhill speaking at 6:00 PM.

Donald Micheal Billmeier was born June 6, 1937 in Dedham, Iowa to the union of his parents, Micheal Billmeier and Clara Lohman Billmeier Koester and passed from this life December 9, 2023 at his home in Kelly, Louisiana with his wife of sixty four years by his side. Don was a hard worker all his life. He loved and provided for his family until his last days. He worked and retired from three different places. Don wore his hard hat so much people thought there was something wrong if they saw him without it on. He loved to travel and tinker around always fooling with something, which usually lead to a beautiful vocabulary of choice words. He loved his animals Bud and Benji and they will be lost without him. Don was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Henry Billmeier, Gerald Billmeier, and Larry Billmeier. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wanda Billmeier; children: Curt Billmeier (Ann), Jodi Rowland (Tommy), Vicky Washam (Michael Johnson); grandchildren: Becky Reeves (Keith), April Reeves (Jerimie), Stormy Billmeier (Justin Minchew), Benton Washam, Abby Rowland, Ashleigh Rowland; great-grandchildren: Cameron Reeves, Hunter Reeves, Joshua Reeves, Kaitlynn Reeves, Austin Reeves, Grayson Keith, Austin Curtiss, Haylon Ray, Rayland Minchew, Allena Minchew, and Axton Williamson; and his sister, Mary Ann Jensen (Berry).
