Debra Ruth Hovell

Graveside funeral services for Debra Lovell will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, September 25, 2026, at Perot Cemetery in Columbia, LA, with Bro. Wally Reitzell officiating. The family will have a brief visitation at Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, beginning at 11 AM prior to the service, with the procession leaving for the cemetery at 11:45 AM.

Debra Ruth Wilkerson Lovell was born November 8, 1956, and she passed away September 20, 2026, after an extended illness, in Houma, LA. She enjoyed fishing and playing cards with her family. She loved animals and her cats and dogs were very special to her. Before her health got bad, she had horses and loved to ride. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Ruth Wilkerson Pugh; her father, Charles Wilkerson, Sr.; and her brother, Charles Wilkerson, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kevin Lovell; her daughter, Angel Renae Wilkerson; and her sons: Carrol Clark (Laura), Darrol Clark (Danielle), and Timothy Clark (Sabrina); brother, David Wilkerson; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
