Funeral services for Debra Ann Busby Crain will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2022, from the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, LA, with Bro. Todd Whittington officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. The family will host a visitation for friends on Saturday at the funeral home from noon until 2 PM.
Debra Ann Busby Crain was born on September 19, 1954, in Columbia, LA, to the union of her parents, Huey P. Busby and Artie Ann Hyatt Busby, and she passed from this life to her heavenly home on November 24, 2022, at her home in Clarks, surrounded by her loving family. Debra was one of a kind. She always spoke her mind and you always knew where you stood with her. She may have been small in stature but she was big in the love she had for her family. Debra fiercely loved her children and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for them especially frying fish. She was so loved and will greatly missed. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Huey Busby, and her daughter-in-law, Chastity Crain.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Julian Crain; her mother, Artie Ann Busby; her daughters: Marcia Hatten, Kim Martin (Chuck), and Shana Crain; sons: Bobby Hatten (Christie), Mark Hatten (Tamra), Timmy Crain, and special grandson, Dustin Hatten (Stephanie); brother, Jimmy Ray Busby (Jeanine); grandchildren: Ashley Lassiter (Dustin), Cheyenne Hatten (Jason), Mason Martin, Hannah Ryan (Colton), Hunter Strickland (Megan), Tyler Hatten (Rachel), Cody Strickland, Spencer Williams, Riley Hatten, Brayden Martin, Aiden Hatten, Colton Williams, T. B. Hatten, Aaron Faucett (Michael), Kasey Spence (Shane), Keith Crain, and Annie Martin; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Cody Strickland, Hunter Strickland, Mason Martin, Spencer Williams, Brayden Martin, Tyler Hatten, Aiden Hatten, T. B. Hatten, and Colton Williams.
