Obituary

Deborah Ann (Nichols) Reitzell, age 65 of Grayson, was born on December 6, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed from this life on April 25, 2026, at the Ochsner LSU Medical Center in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her father and by her grandmother, Estelle Toney.

Deborah was known throughout Caldwell Parish having been employed with Moreno Insurance Agency and also later with Caldwell Insurance Agency. Deborah treated all of her customers with love and respect. To know her was to love her. She will be truly missed. In her spare time she loved crafts, flowers and growing things. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wallace Ray Reitzell, Jr.; her son, Wally Reitzell and wife, Sarah; her mother, Brenda Toney Nichols; her brother, Curtis Nichols; and her sister, Kathy Allen. Her beloved grandchildren: Emma Joy Reitzell, Addie Reitzell, Colten Reitzell and Jacob Reitzell.

Deborah was always thinking of others and this was evident in the decision made by her and her family to donate her organs. She helped numerous people with her donation.

Serving as pallbearers will be L. G. Cruse, Chas McCartney, Dale McCartney, Andy Benson, Jason Buffington and Jim Bill Allen.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Goodman officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon and continue until time of service at 2:00 PM. There will be a private interment at Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks. All services will conclude at the funeral home.
