Graveside services for Dan Potts age 76, of Clarks, La., will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 in Liberty Hill Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The address is 1560 Hwy 508, Bienville, La 71008.
Dan was born in Acadia Louisiana, May 25, 1947 and passed from this life March 26, 2024 at his residence in Clarks. Dan was a loving husband, step-dad, and grandpa. He loved fishing, hunting, and collecting guns. He also enjoyed helping people if he could. Dan served our country in the Army and had a love for the Lord and was always willing to talk about him and the Bible. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Potts; brothers and sister, Prentice, Ray, Hester, and Anne. Those left to cherish his memory are his step-sons, Prentice May, and Jimmie May Jr(Sandy); grandchildren, Justin May (Ashley), Samantha May, Dylan May; great-grandchildren, Zaylee, Samarah, Aavery, and Westyn.
Pallbearers include Dylan May, Justin May, Prentice May, Jimmie May, Stephen Walker and Gabe Williams.
